Our dog is deathly afraid of lightning and thunder as well as fireworks, just like most animals are. She would normally spend the duration of a storm in our shower stall, trembling in fear and completely anxiety ridden. Either myself, my wife or one of the kids had to be with her during the entire event.
We recently discovered Grateful Paws CBD Dog Treats and they have made a substantial difference in our dog’s (Lily) demeanor. She is much more comfortable and relaxed during the storms. She now lays on the couch next to one of the family members and just relaxes with us.
Something that has made a major difference for Lily is that we have changed the way we prepare for the weather systems. When we know a thunderstorm is likely, we will give her 1-2 CBD Treats 1 hour before the system comes through.
Lily is naturally a very anxious dog, she stares out the window and barks at every animal that comes by or in our yard. Now, with the addition of the CBD Treats, Lily is much more laid back, compliant and less likely to bark at random animals walking by.

I had contacted Chip prior to our Christmas visit to CT (relocated down south) and needed to take advantage of being in town to restock on the CBD Oil for our girls. He went out of his way to personally meet up with us for delivery ❤️ While in conversation he mentioned he had a batch of treats w him, if we were interested? Of course!! We’ve been using Grateful Paws for a few years now. Back story, our now 2.5 yo Kelpie mix (Rosie) has a luxating patella and hip dysplasia and our 10.5 yo (Caeli) is a red headed MIn Pin .. naturally anxious 24/7. Before CBD Oil Caeli was having a lot of difficulty getting on the bed or sofa and def up/down stairs. And Rosie’s conditions are life long. Caeli runs around up and down constantly without hesitation and Rosie can actually enjoy walks around the complex!! What a difference!! Now to add these treats in the mix, quality of life is even better. I can relax knowing a storm is coming and I have to work and not worry about Caeli freaking out. After a long day at the office I don’t always feel like playing but they’ve been stagnant all day home alone building up so much energy that a walk doesn’t even put a dent in it. They’ll get the proper dose of a treat and chill zone here they come! I absolutely love Chip and his wife. Their products are a God send. Xoxo
